Day 1 review

Phew...
a long day.
Jobs done today...
* Cleared all the junk out of the kitchen. Ufff this took hours.
* Removed cupboard doors and shelves.
* Removed all the work surfaces and cupborads (except the one with the sink....hey, i need water) and flat packed them.
* Carried the kitchen down five flighs of stairs to the cellar. 12 trips up and down...and it was 25 degrees today. Ugg,.... this took many hours.
* Taken up half the laminate flooring, it will be relayed when i remove the cupboard with the sink.
* Un-plumbed the washing machine and removed all the pipework, i'll plumb it in properly this time, not that it's ever leaked, just i'll make a neater job than i did last time.

When i took the 3 cupboards down off the wall i found that two of them had no wallpaper behind them but one did...Hæ...how...well more to the point why? Anyway this adds another job to the list....i need to wallpaper too. Pah.

The fun stuff is over now the real work begins, tomorrows jobs are sanding and painting...

Oh and IKEA are delivering the kitchen tomorrow too....somethime between 3 and 10pm....that narrows it down a bit eh.

tick, tick, tick

Erm... what no pictures of Maud at all? Not even the ones from Flekkefjord? Boo ;-(
Looking forward to the "how to renovate a kitchen" series for now then...

Sorry, being a two camera family, Silje kept the new camera with all the pictures of Maud on it in Flekkefjord. You'll just have to make do with me and my kitchen.
