Day 8 review

So this was the breakthrough i'd been needing, the tap is installed and we have water again! Slightly behind schedule but things should speed up a bit now.
I managned to get Thursday and Friday off work too which gives me a fair bit more time to play with so after i fitted the tap and cleaned up the mess it was down tools and relax for an hour or two.
Hopefully this was my last evening with take away food too.

This is what i mean (see day 8 update below) so much better, just a hugely neater job. Call me weird, afterall nobody is ever going to see it, but IKEA deserve praise for this. I could make it neater still by shortening the black pipe, we'll see how much time i have.

Another mess to clear up.

Todays correct tool for the job - a dremmel-multi. I love this thing, a million uses. As you may be aware by now i love powertools, i probably have as many powertools as Silje has pairs of shoes...and that's a lot. This thing saved me a whole load of hassle when shortening the pipes on the tap. Posted by Picasa
