Ummmm, blimey.
We were thankfully 500km away at Silje's parents summer house at the time of the explosion so weren't directly affected.
The handicap of no internet connection there has hindered me from being able to update our status until now.
Not much else to add that hasn't been reported in the media so far, Oslo, Norway and maybe even all of Europe was caught unawares.

Summer starts here

A visit of the Conibear clan from various parts of the world was the catalyst for a few days away from Oslo for a change, first up Vrådal not so far from Oslo really but a good 4 hours or so drive due to the twisting roads. The forecast for the week hadn't been good but besides a rainy journey down it wasn't too bad at all.

A BBQ supper is always part of a summer trip away right?

Lots of jumping was done, this being one of Mauds favourite pastimes.

 

Whereas eating is probably one of Hennys least favourite pastimes, except when it is icecream naturally.

Plenty of wildlife for us city types to see out in the country too, absolutely no idea what this actually is though.

Midsummer celebrations

It was then on to the next stop just outside of Sandifjord, lucky we hired a minibus eh.
