We decided not to take the coach up with many of the others but hired a car for the trip instead, NOK 1000 + petrol gets you an almost new Volkswagen Golf for the weekend...Bargain.
Now i hadn't put a pair of skis on my feet since way back in december 1996 during my first visit to Norway, although i did snowboard 2 years ago during that years ski trip so i'm not totally without snow how (ugggh)...Anyhow i marched down to the sports shop on friday morning and bought ...yes bought myself a pair of shiny new cross country skis, and boots and erm poles too.
How did it all go, well see the pictures a judge for yourselves.
Maud gets all worried while being strapped in that i'm going to be carrying her.
Check out my super new skis too.
Smiles of relief as she sees that her mother will be carrying her, probably some laughing at me too.
