I know it's not what you lot come here to see, you want baby pictures, but I have become worryingly obsessed by the amount of snow this year (the most Oslo has seen since 1967). Well today they finally arrived to rid our street of this annoying white debris, and they arrived in big machines - Wooohooo, ever since I was a little kid I can remember being fascinated by large machines moving stuff around, scooping it up and dumping it into trucks, so this was fab. It took them the best part of 3 hours to clean up our street so image how long it takes them to clean up a whole cities worth! (no I didn't hang around to watch it all but if it hadn't been for Maud I probably would have stuck around a whole lot longer). No wonder it took them so long to get to us. Not really sure where they take it all, but it is probably a sure bet that the trucks trundle down to the quay side in town and dump it into the Oslo fjord.
