So 8 years ago since United lost at home to Liverpool, thankfully it was a game I never got to see as I was sleeping after being up all night (or was it the whole week before?) waiting for my first child to make an appearance.
So eight years have whizzed by and here we are, Maud is 8.
As usual we manage to make the most of it and celebrate on more than one occasion.
Girls party, family party and erm the actual day party... all in pictures........
My incompetence, my irresponsibility, everyday ordinary stuff - but mostly - Maud, Henny and Brand.

My idea of leisure pleasure
Henny and Brands ideas of a good time.
Henny with a yoghurt, smoothie and a bit of chocolate, Little chumpster likes to do puzzles together with his cat. Recognise the cat uncle tim? This and Gruffalo are his two must have bed time soft toys, Cat has even been taken to nursery for the day a few times.

Head and shoulders, knees and toes..... and teeth
Or in a certain little boys world, head, toes, fall over, laugh.
After along 'two tooth wobble period' Henny finally agreed to have one of them removed, not before time either as the two new ones are already on their way in. I hope the tooth fairies GPS is updated with our latest address.

Autumn woolies
Meh, summer is beginning to be a distant memory the winter clothes are unpacked. Blæh it's getting cold in the mornings. Doesn't stop nutster 2 and 3 from larking about though. Henny is just like her dear old dad and doesn't zip up her jacket.

Not so terrible two
Another birthday chalked off, making a massive total of..... two!
Not so terrible either, at least not yet.
Gone now are the baby presents, replaced with what he loves best at the moment, all things automotive.

Cycle sisters and running boy
Summer, and after attempts the two previous summers to get Maud to learn to ride a bike she at last realised that it isn't in fact difficult, scary or just not fun at all, in fact completely the opposite. My promise of buying her a new bike if she ever learnt to ride one was also not forgotten after all this time so after doing this....

she got this...
Henny of course then went into Henny super deep thought mode and saw that it might actually be quite fun to be able to ride a bike although her belief in her own ability and that gravity quite often seems to introduce her head to the floor even when just walking was a bit of a worry for her. Still with the age old 'don't worry i'll hold on to you' (honest) leaving my lips, she set off. A few runs holding then pretending to hold and she was off uttering the sentence in a tone of utter disbelief 'I can ride a bike!!' (only in Norwegian of course)
